It looks like summer has arrived in Northern Ireland on time! If you’re making plans for the sunny weekend ahead – we’ve put together a quick guide to some of our favourite things to do in the sun in Northern Ireland.


Take a dip in the Atlantic

We really are blessed being so close to the sea. Start your summer off with a dip in the ocean – there’s plenty of beautiful beaches on the Causeway Coast worth visiting.



The best thing about sunshine…an excuse to have ice cream! Take a trip to Portstewart for the day and top it off with a famous scoop of Morelli’s Ice Cream. Yum!


Swans at Pickie Fun Park

One of the most recognised sights in Bangor town – the kids (and adults) will have hours of fun on the giant paddle Swans at Pickie Fun Park!


Run through the fountains at Albert Clock

Another fun idea for the young and young at heart! Cool down in the city with a frolic through the fountains at the Albert Clock in Belfast.
