For fashions hunters and those looking for something special – a trip to Belfast’s Lisburn Road is not to be missed, with a heritage dating from 1817, the Lisburn Road is known as the ‘Style Mile’ of Belfast.

The Ormeau Road in South Belfast has a growing number of unique and unusual craft shops as well as luxury handcrafted food and second hand book stores.

Belfast Christmas Markets

Recognised as one of Belfast oldest attractions and winner of the UK’s Best Large Indoor Market 2014, Christmas at St. George’s Market remains a firm favourite with both local and visiting shoppers to Belfast. Extending its opening hours this festive season, visitors will have even more time to shop for that all important Christmas gift. Enjoy festive food and entertainment while browsing the stalls.

The Big Market, on 7th December, will host more than 70 businesses which have all been started by young people aged between 10 and 25 years, with the added excitement of live entertainment and the popular food traders from St George’s Market.

The Belfast Christmas Market returns to Belfast City Hall on Saturday 19 November from 12 noon. With even more variety for all Christmas Market lovers, this year’s market is set to be the best yet! Find an exciting selection of hand-painted pottery, continental food, decorations, and a wide range of festive arts and crafts from across Europe and beyond.  Twenty additional stalls will feature numerous local food and craft producers to celebrate Northern Ireland’s Year of Food and Drink, 2016.
