Make a Date with Derry at 20:13 for New Year’s Eve

You won’t want to miss the countdown to 2013 in Derry-Londonderry as the city gets ready to kick of the City of Culture 2013 celebrations! Extraordinary things will happen on the 31st December at 20:13pm as the City welcomes its New Year as UK City of Culture. Derry-Londonderry will mark the start of this incredible year with a spectacular fireworks and pyrotechnics display all set to a soundtrack collated by internationally renowned Derry producer/composer, Frank Gallagher. A designated viewing area will be defined for the thousands of people expected to attend the event between the Harbour Square Roundabout and Council offices.  The performance will take place between 19 – 20:30pm culminating in a spectacular climax at 20:13pm.
